Phortse (3, 950m) is a unique Sherpa settlement of about 80 households. With the aim of adding cultural aspect to the Everest experience, Phortse is being developed as model ecotourism village in Sagarmatha National Park.

PHORTSE ECOTOURISM VILLAE (5-6 days Trekking)
Day 01.	Flight from Katmandu to Lukla. Trekking from Lukla to Phakding or Monja. Sightseeing on the way. 1/2hours flight . 4-5 hours (Lukla ,Pahkding, Monjo) Phakding or Monjo (lodges, tea-shops).
Day 02.	Tour of Namche Bazar. View of Mt. Everest and others Mountains if weather is clear. Sightseeing wildlife, Mountains and rivers. Visiting local monasteries. Observing traditional lifestyle. 4-6 hours trekking . Namche (hotels, lodges, tea-shops)
Day 03.	Tour from Namche Bazar , Sagarmatha National Park And surrounding areas. Jungle walk and bird watching. Sightseeing mountains, Mt. Everest and others. Trekking to Khumjung and back. ½ hours(walk to SNP Headquarter). 2 ½ hours Trekking Khumjung. Namche (hotels, lodges and Tea-shops)
Day 04.	Trekking from Namche Phortse. Viewing mountains And rivers. Experience of wildlife and bird watching on the way . Watching cultural show. 5-6 hours trekking to Phortse. Phortse (home-stay).
Day 05	Visiting local monasteries. Visiting the local power house. Nature walk or trekking to Luri Peak. Day hike (trekking to Luri Peak). Phortse (home-stay).
Day 06	Trekking to Tenngboche visit Tenboche Monastries great mountainviews of Everest Lotse Nupse Amadablam and other peak
Day 07	Trek to Jorsalle
